We find in this compilation of the work of the Italian doctor Giovanni Lancisi these two main contributions to medicine:
- His booklet on malaria, in which he shows that the drainage of marshes is effective in fighting against contagion.
- And the first description of cardiac syphilis. 10 beautiful plates of the anatomy of the heart.
